The Indians claimed a 8-3 victory over Triway on Wednesday. Northwest got on the board in the first inning. Jessica Smith tripled on a 2-2 count, plating two runs. The team tallied five runs in the fourth inning. The big bats were led by Anna Welsh and Olivia Francis, who both drove in runs. Jensen Miller claimed the victory on the rubber. She lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out four and walking zero. Madi Morrow started the game for Triway. She went six innings, allowing ten hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking one. Welsh, Francis, and Maddie Kurz all had multiple hits for Northwest. Welsh led the team with three hits in four at bats. Sydney Sherrieb went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Triway.
